Guests sipped Cuca Fresca Caipirinhas and Mango Batidas while enjoying stunning photographs taken by Nigel Barker and music from DJ Cassidy. All proceeds from the evening went to the Edeyo Foundation, an independent non-profit organization dedicated to improving the future of children in Haiti by rebuilding schools, supplying students with learning materials, and providing them with nutritional support.

Cuca Fresca’s green caipirinhas were the organic cocktail of choice at Global Green’s celebrity-studded benefit, which heats up Oscar Week each year in Hollywood. LA’s A-list of eco-stars including Adrian Grenier, Salma Hayek, Oliver Stone, and Bill Maher made their way down the “green carpet” into The Avalon Hollywood, transformed for the evening into a sustainable oasis where everything from the furnishings to the cocktails were eco-friendly.

MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK-MIAMI SWIM

Cuca Fresca made a splash as celebrities like Tyson Beckford, Dennis Rodman, John Stamos, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Scott Sartiano, Robert Verdi and Kim Kardashian partied with the fashion world during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami Swim at the glamorous Raleigh Hotel.  Cuca Fresca was Miami Swim’s exclusive rum sponsor, bringing the “Spirit of Brazil” to South Beach all week, culminating with the poolside party prior to the debut of Jessica Simpson’s new swimwear line.

CIA MARITIMA AFTER-PARTY

Cuca Fresca teamed up with Havaianas to sponsor the lavish penthouse party celebrating the debut of chic swimwear designer Cia Maritima’s 2008 collection.  Cuca Fresca created a custom cocktail for the event and named it the “Tanga,” which is the Portuguese word for a thong-style bikini bottom.  This vibrant pink cocktail, with its lime wedge garnish, captures the provocative and playful spirit of Brazil’s famous beach culture.
